1955 Season - Overview
Monaco made its return to the F1 calendar Two time champion Ascari crashed fatally during a Monza test in 1955 Stirling Moss became the first Briton to win the British GP A disaster at the Le Mans 24 led to the cancellation of the French, German, Spanish and Swiss GPs of 1955 Fangio won four of the seven concluded 1955 GPs and became the first driver to win three World Drivers' titles
